Retro Game House is part of the story behind Easylinehost

Retro Game House is a retro gaming collection and future retro gaming museum in Kuhmo, owned by Easylinehost and created by entrepreneur Mika Hoffrén. 

The collection includes thousands of games, old game consoles, home computers, and other gaming-related hardware from different decades. 

It features well-known classics such as Commodore 64, Amiga, Nintendo and Sega, along with rarer systems like ColecoVision and Vectrex. 

Retro Game House is also closely connected to Mika’s long-standing interest in computers, gaming and technology in general. 

Mika’s interest in computers began already in the 1980s, when software was loaded from cassette tapes, the internet was not yet part of everyday home life and many things were learned simply by experimenting. 

For many people, the home computers of that era were their first introduction to programming, gaming and the digital world. That same interest is still visible throughout Retro Game House today. 

The current collection consists of game consoles, computers, games and other hardware from different eras. 

Retro Game House also features a virtual exhibition that allows visitors to explore part of the collection online. 

The first exhibition focuses on the Vectrex console, best known for its built-in vector graphics display. More content is planned for the future. 

Finnish public broadcaster Yle recently published a story about Retro Game House and Mika’s retro gaming collection. The article introduced the collection to many people who were not previously familiar with retro gaming as a hobby. 

Retro Game House also shows how quickly games, computers and the digital world have changed over the past few decades.
