Instructions for Registering a Domain
The article explains how to register a domain and how to transfer a domain to Easylinehost.

What is a Domain?
A domain is the address of a website that is typed into the URL field of a browser. It helps websites to be easily found on the internet. Well-known domains include, for example, google.com or yle.fi.
Choosing a Domain
Before registering a domain, it is advisable to choose a name that is short, clear, and easy to remember. The domain should reflect your company, service, or content, and the extension, such as .fi or .com, should be selected based on the countries where the website or service will be used.
Domain Registration
On the Easylinehost homepage, there is a section called “Secure your own domain”. Enter the desired domain name into the search field and click the “Search” button.


Domain Names in Registration
A view for choosing your domain will open. Select the extension you want for your domain and click the “Register” button next to it.
If the text “Not Available” appears next to your desired domain, it cannot be registered. This may be because someone else has already registered it or its use is otherwise restricted.
If the text “Transfer” appears next to the domain, registration is only possible if you have the domain’s transfer key.

Confirm your selected order by clicking the “Order selected domains” button at the bottom of the page.

Domain Configuration in Registration
The domain configuration page will open.

Select the registration period. The subscription period refers to the time during which the domain is reserved in your name. When the subscription period ends, the domain must be renewed to remain under your control. If it is not renewed, the domain will become available for others to register. Typically, a domain is registered for 1–5 years.
Then accept the domain terms and enter the required information in the form.

Optionally, specify the nameservers and web hosting. If you want to use your own name servers, click “I want to use my nameservers.” This will open a menu where you can enter the name servers. If you do not select anything, the domain will automatically use Easylinehost’s name servers.
You can also choose web hosting. By clicking the “Choose here to add” text, you can select from different hosting options. Selecting web hosting is not mandatory.

If you want to add other services, you can select them by clicking the “Add to Cart” button.

Confirm that the information provided during payment can be used as the domain contact details, or enter separate information for this purpose.

Confirm the configuration by clicking the “Continue” button at the bottom of the page.

Order Summary in Registration
During the Order Summary step, customer details are entered and the order is reviewed before final confirmation.

If you are a new client, fill in the required personal or company details. Finally, make sure the information is correct.

If you are already registered, go to the “Already registered” section, enter your account details, and confirm them by clicking the “Submit” button.

If necessary, enter any additional information or details related to your order in the “Additional Information” field.

Check the order summary to ensure that the products, quantities, and prices are correct.

Choose PayPal or Finnish banks and credit cards as your payment method.

Accept the terms and conditions by checking “I have read and accepted Terms of Service.” This is required before proceeding to checkout.

Once all information is correct and the terms and conditions are accepted, click the “Checkout” button to proceed with payment.

After completing payment, wait to be redirected back to our website.
Domain Transfer
Domain transfer means moving a domain from your current provider to another without changing the domain itself.
On the Easylinehost homepage, there is a section called “Secure your own domain”. Enter the desired domain name into the search field and click the “Search” button.

Domain Names in Transfer
A view for choosing your domain will open. Click on the “Transfer domain” section.

Click the “Transfer” button next to the domain you want to transfer. This will add the domain to your shopping cart.

If you want to transfer multiple domains, click on the “Bulk Domain Transfer” section, list the domains in the popup, and click “Submit”.


Confirm your selection by clicking the “Order selected domains” button.

Enter your domain’s EPP code and select the registration period.

Confirm that the information provided during payment can be used as the domain contact details, or enter separate information for this purpose.
